Should I use Airbnb's free Pro Photography program or hire a local photographer?

Where it's offered, Airbnb's program commissions interior photos for use on Airbnb — but you don't choose the photographer or the shot list, and coverage focuses on the rooms rather than the styling, amenities, neighborhood, twilight, or drone shots that win bookings. Those images are also licensed for your Airbnb listing, not owned by you. Hire locally and you own every file — free to reuse on VRBO, Booking.com, and your own direct-booking site. How fast will I get my photos?
